Teen Docent Program
![]() |
October 2009–June 2010 Wednesdays, 3:00–5:00 pm High school juniors and seniors are eligible to become teen docents at the museum. Teen docents learn about the museum’s collection and careers in the arts, hone their public speaking skills, and give tours to other teenagers from around the city. For students to participate, the school must commit by assigning a coordinator to oversee the partnership and act as a liaison with the museum. As partners, schools will receive free tours led by teen docents for their high school students. To learn more or for an application, contact Jennifer Kalter, manager of school and family programs, at 212. 265. 1040, ext. 148, or jkalter@folkartmuseum.org. The Teen Docent Program is made possible through the generous support of Time Warner. |
