Dialogue + Studio: Sound Art Workshop with Betsey Biggs

Participate in an in-gallery discussion with a museum educator on non-traditional music and sound art by Lonnie Holley, Hans Krüsi, Gustav Mesmer, Vahan Poladian, and Adolf Wölfli followed by a workshop on sound art with composer and visual artist Betsey Biggs, PhD. This workshop is for people with an interest in sound art, music, and performance, though no prior experience is necessary.

Betsey Biggs holds a PhD in music composition from Princeton University, and has taught music, multimedia, and public art at Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design’s Digital + Media program, where she currently serves as Artist-In-Residence.
