Checkroom The checkroom is located on Lower Level 1. Bags All bags are subject to inspection at the museum entrance. All backpacks, large bags, and shopping bags must be checked in the checkroom. Coats must be worn or checked. Photography Still photography is permitted for personal/private, noncommercial use only in the museum’s galleries devoted to the permanent collection. Photography is not permitted in exhibitions of works of art on loan from private collections or other institutions. Photography is permitted of the architecture and gallery spaces. No flash or tripods are allowed. Movie and video cameras are prohibited. No photographs may be reproduced, distributed, or sold without permission from the museum. The museum reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw permission to photograph on its premises or to reproduce photographs of objects in its collection. Sketching Sketching—with pencil only—is permitted in the galleries. Food and Drinks Food and drinks are not permitted in the galleries. The Café is on the Mezzanine level. Wheelchairs The museum entrance and all levels of the museum building are wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms on Lower Level 1 are wheelchair accessible. Two wheelchairs are available for use during your visit; please inquire at the admission desk. Please see the Accessibility page for more information for visitors with special needs. Strollers Baby strollers are permitted in all public spaces of the museum. Families A Family Guide with suggested activities is available at the admission desk. The museum offers a series of family programs. |
